Internal Medicine Residency Program Curriculum
Program Curriculum
Our program will follow a 4+2 rotation model, where each four-week inpatient block (such as floors, ICU, or electives) is followed by a two-week outpatient or elective rotation. During the +2 ambulatory block, residents rotate through continuity and specialty clinics.
The continuity clinic offers residents a valuable opportunity to manage a panel of patients over time, fostering long-term physician-patient relationships that are central to the rewarding experience of primary care. Meanwhile, the specialty clinic rotations provide focused exposure to common internal medicine subspecialties in an outpatient setting.
